<p>ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL WW2 US M1C PARATROOPER HELMET WITH ORIGINAL IN NEAR MINT CONDITION - IDENTIFIED TO 82nd AB DIVISION SOLDIER Up for auction is this scarce World War 2 US M1C helmet absolutely complete. M1C steel helmet is a textbook specimen of mid war factory in mint condition (front edging butt and OD#7 chin strap). It is perfect with an outstanding original paint. The liner is a Westinghouse parachutist liner specimen (cast buckles and brass A washer) in very good condition. It is absolutely complete with original sweatband, neckband, leather chinstrap and leather chin cup (5 holes). The soldier has applied two 82nd Airborne decals on each side and a varnish coat.
