The helmet itself, modern ones, are all the same. The differences are in the chin straps and webbing, padding, etc. on the inside. Most of it is all interchangable
Dunno about the US ones. But the one the Israelis developed is amazingly comfortable and light, you could almost fall asleep just wearing it, lol. It’s very good in a practical sense too, giving plenty of room for peltors (reactive hearing protection) or radio headsets, and still offers plenty of protection.
Sorry I can’t answer about the US helmets.
The Army now issues the ACH (Army Combat Helmet). I don’t really know anything about the specs but it uses a set of pads that you can arrange to fit your head and the straps now attach to 4 points of the helmet instead of 2 like in the older versions.
