POLAND – WW2 Helmet – Polish Army in Exile – 1941 dated Picture(s) and Description:

For sale is an ORIGINAL WW2 Polish Exile Tommy helmet, Canadian-made, shell marked GSW and liner marked VMC; both shell and liner dated 1941. Liner is large size: 7 3/4. The exterior of the helmet is over-painted in a lightly textured dark green/brown and has a Polish eagle stenciled in yellow gas-detection paint. It is complete with chinstrap and net as shown. This is a beautiful example that shows some wear, but overall it is in as good a shape as I have seen for one of these helmets. As most of you know, fakes abound in this area and it is very difficult to find original WW2 Polish Exile helmets. It you want to add a 100% original piece to your collection, and are as distressed as I am with all the fakes and made-up pieces floating around on various internet auction sites, here is an excellent opportunity to acquire the genuine article. I am selling a few pieces from my collection of Polish Exile helmets to make room for new acquisitions. This helmet is guaranteed original as described and if you are not satisfied with it for any reason whatsoever, please notify me within 10 days and we will arrange return for a full refund, less postage costs. If you collect helmets of the WW2 Polish Exile forces with the French, British or Soviets, please drop me a line; I would like to hear from you.
